The Titanic made impact, and two hours and 40 minutes later, the boat was lost to the ocean forever. 2,224 people were on board. Only 700 survived. It's a tragedy that has stuck in our minds more than a century, but we're likely unfamiliar with the real faces of the people who survived it.
