NS train H74, a local running on Norfolk Southern's "Portland Secondary" line was on its way to Portland Pennsylvania when a WCT semi drove through the flashing train signals and gets struck on the right side. The train was traveling at track speed, (30 mph) and the engineer engaged the E-Brake moments before the collision. Although it was carrying 67 loaded cars, it came to a quick stop due to the steep track gradient they were traveling up through the town. Nobody was injured, and no fuels/chemicals were leaked during the crash. After the train was inspected and continued on, Fast Lane wreckers were called in to tow away the battered Peterbilt and the loaded wood mulch trailer. ----------------------------------- This video is property of Austin Trains.
