He makes hyper-realistic and detailed dioramas, and shares tutorials and videos of his creative process on his YouTube channel. Roman has another job, and making dioramas is his hobby, but in our opinion he does it professionally! In order not to spend too much time on his dioramas, Roman plans his ideas and thinks about the materials he will use in advance. For his projects, Roman uses Penoplex, real sand and dried tree bark, epoxy resin, silicone, and other materials, both ordinary ones and those bought from a special shop. Merrick (High Eye Workshop) makes landscape models, because he finds it fun and it keeps him in a positive state of mind. The artist likes helping other people to stay positive by encouraging their creativity too, so he started the High Eye Workshop YouTube channel as a way of sharing what he does and how he does it. Merrick hopes his videos benefit people who like making their own little worlds. The techniques he uses can of course be applied to all kinds of modeling - from railway scenery to wargame terrain to military dioramas - but for him, he's just into the land.
