I don't usually do daytime stuff, but was out on a walk getting nature photos and snapped some glass off the buildings on my way back, Officers attempted to detain me simply because I snapped some pictures walking down the sidewalk of the cool glass reflective windows on some corporate buildings in Brea. This officer clearly doesn't even know the law. I called the watch commander and they just have to respond even if some pregnant angry nun calls them. I get that, and with the shootings nowadays I guess curious cops are a fixture.... but what I object to is the assumption that a "shooter" would walk around on the sidewalk with a gopro on his hat and take pictures with a dslr for 15 minutes.....were getting into "Thought Crime" territory shortly with the assumptions... having people walk about and take pictures of odd things comes with the territory for a democracy with a constitution and a first amendment.
