"re-marrying" is a term coined up when pieces of hardware are keyed to each other using some sort of encryption, and we would like to use different mechanics for the same encryption. We call that re-marrying. basically taking the encrypted chip, or the chip that is unique to the main motherboard. and place it on a working daughter-board... and hence we remarried the main board with a new daughter. doesn't make any sense if these were humans lol.. Any ways the steps are as follows: 1. Get a working daughter-board 2. Remove its chip, (store it or throw it) 3. Remove your working chip from your non working daughter-board (blu-ray board) 4. re solder the damn thing. (not easy) my secretary calls this the centipede chip... yes, if something goes wrong and you do not get that proper fit like in the video you will be chasing manually every pin and soldering it .... not a fun procedure. I like to get it done right the first time with the rework station.
