After diagnosing the board we came across an burned ISL chip . The ISL chip is responsible for creating the 12v rail and SMC_BC_ACOK that is needed to get a green light. Replacing the ISL chip did not fix the problem. The Dc circuit looks good and we even changed the DC board but still no green light. The only other thing that could be the problem is the the SMC system management controller chip. Since we did not have an SMC chip for this model on hand, we will continue the video in part 2.
