Another great day here in Noosa. A nice golden glow in the sky as the sun came up at the river mouth. A light, cool 3 to 5 knot westerly breeze blowing. Lots of boats heading out into the bay. A bit sloppy on the bar. A few boats got caught out by the relatively modest but punchy sets and one got some serious air. No real dramas though. Surface activity was accelerating as the sun rose higher with some nice boils further out. Mostly baitfish boils in close straight out from the rock groyne. One angler was right on top of them casting slugs but he didn't hook up on anything substantial. Switched to a bait jig and got himself some livies instead. Filmed between 6.15am and 6.45am which was roughly three hours before a 1.58m high tide. Background Music: 'A Rising Wave'... by Jeremy Blake. www.fishingnoosa.com.a
