Jorge says people want his personalized masks so as to not lose their identities. In a normal year, Jorge would be painting scenes of Rio de Janeiro’s famed Carnival. Brazil is one of the countries hit hardest by the Coronavirus pandemic; it has the third highest number of infections in the world.
