We saw this Mule Deer fawn caught in the fence on our way to Blue Mesa Reservoir between Montrose and Gunnison, CO. It took a minute, but we were able to bend the wire and set it free. There was a doe about 50 yards away in the direction that the fawn ran towards, we'll assume it was the mother. Kids liked the happy ending.
