Tori Wade and I were able to see the Sombrero Ranches Great American Horse Drive. The drive forms two functions. The first is to move horses owned by various dude ranches from public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management where they spend the winter back to private owners. The second is to provide entertainment for tourists who are willing to spend $3000 for a week which includes food and bunkhouse lodging riding instruction and tack for the duration of the the drive as well as transportation to and from the Yampa Valley Airport. I doubt those city slickers had to work too hard.
