Students from STEM School Highlands Ranch held an open-mic session after walking out in frustration at a vigil Wednesday night. Students said they were angry because it was a political event and not about, Kendrick Castillo, the young man that was killed in the STEM school shooting the day before. The event was organized by Team Enough, a youth chapter of Brady, a national gun control group. Speakers including U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet and U.S. Rep. Jason Crow.
