Lots of people lost their homes completely, lots of businesses were destroyed especially the smaller businesses. Hurricane Laura was actually so close (winds mph) to being a category 5. Lake Charles La is still without electricity and has been for a week now, and will be weeks before it comes back and YEARSSSS before the city will ever be the same..... Im thankful we only had the damage we did because it could have been worse.
